Goodbye 2008!

Well, here it is the end of 2009!

I have many things to be thankful for this year but it also has been a year of struggle as well. I finally received my BS degree in Information Technology. My field placement is exciting and I am using the skills that I am learning both in school as well as with my job. The timing feels right this time around to go back to school.

I discovered blogging and the shutterfly community. I know…a bit behind but as I was dealing with some personal things, I turned to the various blogs and connected with some really cool people…especially FM, her amazing now defunct sites and Prof. C.I.T who has been so kind and encouraging to me. There are so many other as well…would be too long a list at this point to name all, but you know who you are!

Health wise, not so good. I want to say that a big part of this may be due to the crazy schedule I have right now.

Stress and anxiety are killers. It is amazing how this affects one’s body and mind. Getting enough rest and relaxation (the balance) back is rough. Thankfully, for the last 6 days, this is all I have been doing. Self care right??

So, if anyone is reading this, what are ways that you reduce stress and anxiety?

One thing that I did do is to balance my time management in doing my job, in the ministry and in school. This will free up some extra time for me in hopes of getting a wee bit more down time.

So, Happy New Year to you all and wishing you love and peace in the New Year.

...celebrate christmas!

Christmas is, & always will be, extra magical, during this time of the year, i tend to go all out to show my family and friends how much I care and appreciate them.

many people in my life mean a lot to me, but they may not know it because I don't say it enough ( don't we all have the same problem?) i can rattle off a whole list of names, but I just know I would ,miss someone out(..hmmm.. kinsa kaha!), I hope you guys know just how special you are to me.

You guys is one of the things that I truly feel passionate about. It is after all the evidence of my existence, as i like to call it, without you guys, I probably wouldn't have been motivated enough to push myself this far, ... thank you for being part of my life.

HAVE A BLESSED MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
