My Name is...
My name is Sharon Ursos Reyes. I was born in Bayugan II, San Francisco, Agusan Del Sur. I am 26 years old now. I am fondly interested in blogging and I have one, making sites in a free web hosting and I made a few of it. Also I love to do innovating recycled materials, surfing in the internet, reading, writing, and do computer stuffs. I graduated my Elementary level in 1998. During my high school years, I took it seriously with the chance to get a high grades. And gladly, I graduated as a salutatorian in our batch in 2002 and got an opportunity to take up my college degree in NORMISIST now Caraga State University (CSU) and grant a privilege to had an academic scholar. But sadly, because of financial constraints and family needs I was not able to maintain my scholarship and stopped my studies sometime in my junior years. But still life has going on… After a semester, I’m back in a school and continue my studies. I had the opportunity to be a student assistant (SA) and become an Internet clerk as a part time job to sustain my financial needs and a lot of people God uses to helped me and guided me along the way which I'll be forever grateful. Of all the ups and downs, at last! I graduated in a degree of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology last 2009 and now currently taking my masters degree in Master of Science in Information Technology in CSU. Being a student, I take it as a serious thing because that will shape our life where will we become. It teaches us to be responsible in doing things right and possible in making personal decisions. We have to listen, learn, and share the knowledge that we had to make contributions and impact others life. Because life for me is the greatest teacher of its kind and it always teaches us to do more.
Now, I am working at the Office of the Registrar as an Office Assistant in CSU. My present job experiences developed my interpersonal communication skills and advanced my capability to deal with variety of people having great attitude and exceptional values in maintaining my disposition. And these experiences brought me this far and put me where I am right now. Sometime in my mind, I realize that it can be very easy to continually look back and wish that things had been different in the past. But I also realize that things in the past cannot be changed, that only things in the future can be changed. That’s why I continually strive to improve myself each and every day and that’s why I’m working hard to continually increase my knowledge in the field that I took… and there isn’t anything in my past that I would change. I look only to the future to make changes in my life. God has given me purpose and I am so excited about the future. I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, next week or next year. That is no longer a worry, as it is the most amazing reassuring feeling knowing that God is in control of my life and He knows the future.
As I journey through the rest of my life, I’m sure there will always be suffering because this world is not my home. I will still make mistakes, people will still hurt me and I may still hurt others. I may sometimes fail to apply God's truth and maybe occasionally dishonor the Lord. But through all these, I am assured that God is my anchor and so I will not be moved.
I will leave this piece of mine by someone who once said, “Happiness comes when we stop wailing about the troubles we have and offer thanks for all the troubles we don’t have.” That’s a life-changing observation, one that presents a great challenge. How can we respond?
To bring things up to date, I have my personal blogs and you can visit it through this site: http://www.sharon18reyes.blogspot.com.
